Busan Weekender Music Festival

      The Busan Weekender Music Festival is an annual event that takes place in Busan, South Korea, featuring Korean indie musicians and hosted by Platform Magazine.

    I was tasked with creating an illustration to be used as the backdrop for the event poster. With an open ‘summer’ themed brief, I took the direction of illustrating a festive beach scene, complete with fireworks, since Busan is a coastal city. The work was first completed digitally and then utilized risograph printing, rescanning, and digital manipulation to reach the final result.
